About Aaron Aquinas
Aaron is an average person with an interest in theology.
He grew up in a church going Christian home and was exposed to a wide variety of denominations. As a child through his teen years, he had a very generic modern cultural understanding of Christianity and going to heaven, directly tying it to how good of a life a person lives.
Without overtly thinking about it, Aaron never knew for sure that he would end up in Heaven. He would sometimes think he could try to repent of his sins at the last second before death while also thinking that sounds irrational.
Later in his young adult life in college, he became an atheist. From more exposure to the secular world living on campus, he bounced back and forth on his spiritual beliefs.
During winter break one semester, an old friend of his parent's came back into his life and showed him clarity on some versus in the bible he was misunderstanding. It was at that point he figured out how he can know for sure he'll be in Heaven.
From there it sparked his interest in theology, and the rest is history.
Aaron is no scholar, pastor or formal theologian. Other than being self taught, his only relevant education in areas related to theology involve a certificate in the Philosophy of Science from the University of Pennsylvania, and a certificate in the Philosophy of Religion from the University of Edinburgh.
