Socratic Method
Using questions rather than arguments to to reveal truth
The Socratic method, sometimes called the method of Elenchus or Socratic debate, is a style of argumentative dialogue built around asking and answering questions. It is prominently featured in many works of the ancient Greek philosopher Plato, where his teacher Socrates engages an ‘interlocutor’ or discussion partner in examining philosophical questions. Aaron often uses this method when discussing certain theological points.
